Recently branched off from the older community of Eden, many younger residents have chosen to move away from their ancestoral land to a different location, called New Eden. Although most residents still hold closely to their family ties and history they are eager to start a new life in a place they can make their own.

Summer Festival 2001

Summer Fest 2001 - Centennial Park

Residents of New Eden wrapped up the end of the summer season with a festival at Centennial Park.  In the tradition of the old food expo a small farmer's market selling produce was set up in the park, but there were many other special activities for residents to enjoy.

The festival committee hired a D.J. to play music on the bandstand and residents were invited to dance.


There were also rides


and games for residents to enjoy.


A free picnic lunch was offered in the picnic area, with a choice of hotdogs or hamburgers.


The biggest draw of the day, though, was simply getting out and socializing with the neighbors.


Romance was definitely in the air for many sims and many sims enjoyed spending the day as couples.

    I like the community event idea. It's a nice way to get the hood together for an event.
